Robotics
OUR ROBOTICS EXPERTISE
The ISP AQUITAINE teams support you in the broad field of robotics, focusing on flexibility, scalability, modularity, durability, availability, and maintainability.
Our areas of expertise:
Integration of all sizes and types of robots (FANUC, STAUBLI, ABB, YASKAWA, etc.) or cobots (FANUC, UR, etc.) for various mechanical tasks up to the highest load handling.
Our added value lies in:
– The development of our custom effectors : multifunction, integrated, intelligent
– Simulation: load, cycle time, implementation optimization, maintainability
– Robot guidance and control: synchronized robots, 2D or 3D vision, force sensors (single or multi-axis), distance sensors

EXAMPLES OF ACHIEVEMENTS
HAKKO PROJECT
On behalf of the IFV, in collaboration with INRAE, ISP AQUITAINE has developed a unique robotic platform, enabling small-scale winemaking trials on 60 fermenters.
This test bench allows the fermentation process of 60 fermenters to be monitored independently, thanks to several measurement and action stations. The collaborative robot transports the fermenters between the measurement stations, ensuring the safety of the researcher working in collaboration with the robot. The system measures mass, colorimetry, and temperature using infrared sensors. A homogenization station allows the introduction of adjuvants into the fermenters and mixing.
Each fermenter is housed in a barrel with independent temperature control thanks to a fan and a heating mat controlled by a PID controller.
The system is entirely controlled by software developed specifically for this purpose, providing an interface between the system and the researcher conducting the test protocol.
ACHEAS PROJECT
The ISP AQUITAINE Screw Remover Cobot is a disassembly assistance tool. It is currently used in helicopter turbine maintenance. The two robotic arms are specially designed to eliminate FOD risks. A crowfoot allows the arm to access hard-to-reach screws.
The system collects protocol data, such as unscrewing torques.
The ISP AQUITAINE Screw Remover Cobot was developed jointly with ergonomists and UX (User Experience) designers for better integration of cobotics in the workshop.
The ISP AQUITAINE Screw Remover Cobot eliminates MSD risks:
The equipment assists the operator in disassembly operations, which can be repetitive.
